Hot One Inch!
Saturday, November 5 · 8:00pm - 11:00pm
The Piranha Shop - 1022 1st Ave S, Seattle WA 98104

I was in this show last year and it was one of the most fun evenings I had. I brought my kids and they had a great experience introducing themselves to other adults and bargaining for buttons. It was a blast.

Featuring button art from Aaron Rutten, Andrew McIntosh, Andy Mathis, Brennan Coyle, Cathy Tuttle, Charlene Stahl, Cherylin Andre, Chris Bentzen, Dana Aldis, Davin Spridgen, Dennis Stan, Doug Keith, Duffy, Electric Coffin, Eli Wolff, Elisa Mader, Erin Gibbs, Forrest Wedmore, Fox Spears, Heather Hudson, Jackson Smith, Jared K Nickerson, Junichi Tsuneoka, Kate Vrijmoet, Katherine DuBose Fuerst, Kathryn DeFeo, Kelly Froh, Lauren Curtis, Lauren Olson, Lawrence Ruelos, Loren Marks, Marty Gordon, Mat Winkelman, Matt Wainwright, Max Clotfelter, Melissa Levin, Michael Chandler, Mike Klay, Mollie Bryan, Nicolette Oliver, Niki Sherey, Patrice Tullai, Phil Scroggs, RAWKSON, Rita Bellanca, Rosie Peterson, Scott Bulgrin, Stace Van Eps, Susan Brown, and Traci Bixby.
Conceived by Jim Hoehnle and Chris Bentzen in 2004, Hot One Inch Action is the original, one-night only show of button art and social interaction from Vancouver, BC. The tiny art of fifty different artists is reproduced on one inch buttons. These one inch buttons are displayed on the gallery wall and the audience is offered the opportunity to buy randomly selected buttons in mixed bags of five for $5. Didn’t get the button you want? Trade with the people around you… how bad do you want that button?! That’s when the hot action starts.
